Guide on good practice in energy efficiency for Europe

The good practice examples presented in this Guide are projects supported under both the Intelligent Energy Europe and Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency programmes.

The Guide covers key energy efficiency areas of relevance for the CESEC region, namely: energy performance of buildings, efficient district heating and cooling, addressing energy poverty, investing in energy efficiency, energy efficiency in industry and businesses, as well as engaging stakeholders at all governance levels to support energy efficiency.

The presentation of the examples of good practice is complemented by a short country-by-country analysis (for each of the 17 CESEC members) of the relevant energy efficiency issues, in order to have a snapshot overview of the situation on the ground
